Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Specialist to join our team. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will work with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing support and assistance with daily living activities. You will be responsible for creating meaningful relationships with our participants, helping them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Help participants to participate in community activities and enjoy their favorite hobbies
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized support plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
