Physician Therapy Support Specialist

Nexus HR Services is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in various locations across the United States. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with prescribed treatment programs.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist. This includes assisting with skilled treatment programs, communicating effectively with patients and staff, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for adhering to state Practice Acts and company policies, as well as completing ongoing continuing education coursework to meet state licensure requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Assist licensed physical therapists in carrying out prescribed treatment programs
* Provide patient care and support under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress
* Adhere to state Practice Acts and company policies
* Complete ongoing continuing education coursework to meet state licensure requirements
* Maintain current CPR certification
Requirements:
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant studies
* Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in California
* Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
* Familiarity with exercise and physical therapy equipment
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and self-initiation skills
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide benefits such as medical, vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, dependent care assistance, company-paid life insurance, long-term disability, and voluntary benefit plans. We also offer up to $20,000 for relocation, sign-on bonuses, and/or student loan assistance.
Salary Range:
$35-$40 per hour
