Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Aardvark Tax Advisors. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing a team of bookkeepers, overseeing day-to-day bookkeeping operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of 3-6 bookkeepers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Operational Oversight: Review the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions processed by team members, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level client inquiries, offering expertise and strategic advice on bookkeeping-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of bookkeeping experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
