This is a contract to hire a Construction Project Manager in a remote setting for New Age Technologies in Louisville, KY.

Must have proper work authorization - No Corp to Corp and No outside vendors.

Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the execution of commercial and residential construction or alteration projects through all phases of a project's lifecycle, including soliciting RFP's, structural and architectural phases of construction plans, specifications, estimates, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and manage multiple construction and renovation projects simultaneously.
  • Manage all aspects of capital projects, including planning, determining scope and budget, ensuring scope and plans are adhered to, maintaining and meeting schedules, monitoring progress and costs, reviewing and approving change orders, meeting deadlines, obtaining lien releases, processing draw requests, reimbursement submissions, and project closeouts.
  • Facilitate communications with contractors, architects/engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Conduct weekly reporting and progress meetings using project management software and Excel.
  • Determine, monitor, and review all project economics, including project costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, project resources, and project risk.
  • Formulate contingency plans to address schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.
  • Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues.
  • Meet with management, sponsors, and project teams to review project scope/progress and resolve project issues.
  • Develop, propose, and negotiate project proposals, quotations, and add-ons to leadership and project teams.
  • Matrix manage cross-functional suppliers, including internal teams, outsourced partners, contractors, and third-party consultants, in delivering solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree is a plus.

  • Prefer five to ten years of Construction Management experience related to Commercial and Residential properties.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • High level of analytical and problem resolution skills with high attention to detail, organization, timeliness, and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate (verbal and written) with all levels of personnel (internal and external) in the company, including at an executive level.
  • Strong multi-tasking ability.
  • Knowledge/experience with construction management software tools.
  • Self-motivated to take charge and assume responsibility.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully handle potentially 20+ projects at various stages during the same period.

Travel Requirements

Travel up to 50% - Extensive airline and automobile travel required.
