Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer receives a friendly and professional experience.
- Generate turfgrass sales through effective product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently, handling cash and media accountabilities.
- Process sales transactions, prepare daily counts, and inventory grass.
- Communicate customer requests to management and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing the store as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous retail or customer service experience.
- Ability to process information and sales through computer systems and POS registers.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Working Conditions:
The Sales Associate will work in an office setting, with occasional exposure to moderate noise levels and difficult customers. The role requires standing, walking, and lifting moderately heavy objects, as well as using computer equipment and power tools.
