As a Brain Injury Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering a strong sense of community and supporting our members towards achieving greater independence and self-realization.

About the Job:

  • You will build on your relationships with the program members to foster understanding and develop plans to continuously improve their lives.
  • A typical workday is filled with meaningful tasks, from teaching computer skills to advocating for the needs of the brain injury community.
  • You will work side by side with the people we serve to plot out and complete tasks within the work unit.
  • Develop and review service plans for members of the Clubhouse.
  • Drive our vehicles during your work, so an excellent driving record is essential.

Requirements:

  • Possession of a passion for making a difference in people's lives.
  • A positive attitude, quick smile, and strong person-centered service philosophy.
  • Ability to work well on a team and initiate unit activities independently.
  • Desire for professional excellence and work ethic to match.
  • Strong ability to use and apply technology in their job and enthusiasm to teach people how to use it to help improve member's independence.
  • Deep experience working with people with disabilities, ideally people with brain injuries.

We Offer:

  • A competitive salary: $$50,000 - $$60,000 per year.
  • A comprehensive benefits package including:
