We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at PACS Inc.
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in our In-House Therapy Program, working directly with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treat patients as directed by the Occupational Therapist, with a focus on their individualized treatment plans.
- Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes, ensuring compliance with OT Board requirements and governmental regulations.
- Assist the nursing department with training of Restorative Aides and participate in in-services training programs for other staff members.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.
- Participate in discharge planning, instructing patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training.
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Report any problems with department equipment to maintain good working order.
Required License or Certification:
A valid Occupational Therapist Assistant license is essential for this role.
