Position Overview: Tact Staff is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN specializing in Oncology for an exciting opportunity.

Job Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients and collaborating with physicians to deliver optimal patient care. Key duties include:

  • Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patient needs.
  • Identifying patient requirements and establishing care priorities through thorough assessment.
  • Developing and coordinating individualized care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Conducting assessments based on patients' health issues and medical diagnoses.
  • Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care effectively.
  • Documenting care in accordance with established standards and clinical priorities.
  • Advocating for evidence-based care practices and supporting innovative care delivery methods.
  • Providing patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards.
  • Executing additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute adult oncology, with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma in an inpatient environment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA.
  • NIHSS certification.
  • Active RN License.
  • Availability for night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and every other weekend.
  • Experience in Oncology/Leukemia preferred.
  • Flexibility to float as needed based on hospital/unit requirements.
