Key Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse will be accountable for assessing patients and collaborating with physicians to deliver optimal patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and documenting nursing care tailored to patient needs.
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify patient needs and prioritize care.
- Creating and coordinating individualized care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care effectively.
- Documenting care in accordance with established standards and clinical priorities.
- Advocating for evidence-based practices and supporting innovative care delivery methods.
- Providing patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute adult oncology, particularly in leukemia and lymphoma within an inpatient setting.
- Current BLS certification from AHA and NIHSS certification.
- Valid RN License.
- Willingness to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and fulfill weekend and holiday requirements as needed.
- Experience in Oncology/Leukemia preferred.
- Flexibility to float as required by hospital/unit needs.
