Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Operations: Greet patients and families in a caring and professional manner, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule walk-in appointments, confirm referrals and authorizations, and ensure accurate status updates for clinic appointments.
- Financial Transactions: Collect co-pays and past due balances, reconcile money at the end of each shift, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Patient Safety and Security: Monitor and ensure the cleanliness, safety, and security of the clinic module, maintaining a secure environment for patients and staff.
- Communication and Confidentiality: Maintain patient confidentiality, utilize professional communication skills for telephone conversations, and report areas of concern to immediate supervisors.
- Quality Improvement and Risk Management: Participate in departmental and hospital programs for quality improvement, working collaboratively with management to enhance services and patient care.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or physician's office setting.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
