As a pivotal leader in the Surgical Services department, you will oversee and coordinate the daily functions of surgical suites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the achievement of clinical objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise operating room (OR) activities, acting as a subject matter expert for designated specialties or service lines.
2. Facilitate effective communication between the OR and other departments to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Identify and address challenges impacting patient care delivery within assigned service lines.
4. Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and staff to optimize resource utilization, including equipment, supplies, and personnel.
5. Maintain clinical proficiency and, when necessary, fulfill front-line staff duties.
6. Contribute to the recruitment, training, guidance, and evaluation of team members.
