Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Traveling Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Vertiv. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our electrical systems, including switchgear, circuit breakers, and other automated devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site technical support and maintenance services for electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of complex electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with our technical support team to resolve customer issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical systems technology.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair, preferably in a field service role.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including switchgear, circuit breakers, and other automated devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 80% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASEET certification.
Working Conditions
  • Medium to heavy lifting (30-50 lbs) and frequent standing, kneeling, and bending.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, noise levels, and working at heights.
  • Wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
