Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician - Busbar Nationwide to join our team at Liebert Global Services. As a Field Service Technician - Busbar Nationwide, you will be responsible for assisting in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service, and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC iMPB, HPB, TOB, and communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical theory and technologies, with experience in electrical/electronic test equipment and fundamentals. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in start-up commissioning, integration, emergency service, and troubleshooting of Vertiv 480VAC iMPB, HPB, TOB, and communications.
  • Establish, promote, and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives, and others as appropriate.
  • Evaluate the operating conditions of equipment and interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers.
  • Manage one's own schedule and respond to emergency calls at customer's request.
  • Provide accurate and timely communication to internal and external customers.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, guidelines, and laws.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of time cards, expense reports, etc.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • ASMET.
  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent Standing.
  • Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping.
  • Frequent bending / twisting.
  • Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders).
  • Frequent driving (car, van, truck).
Work Environment
  • Extreme cold (below 32).
  • Extreme heat (above 100).
  • Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard).
  • Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors).
  • Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.).
  • Work outdoors (no effective protection from weather).
