About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Operations Custodian I for Day Shift to become part of our team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. This position involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our manufacturing and packaging facilities in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The primary objective is to ensure a hygienic and orderly environment for all personnel while providing essential supplies and equipment that adhere to cGMP cleaning and sanitizing standards.

Your Daily Responsibilities

As an Operations Custodian, your day will include:

  • Managing housekeeping tasks within the manufacturing and packaging areas, including stocking laundered uniforms, disposable gowns, production supplies, and cleaning materials.
  • Coordinating laundry services with external vendors, ensuring timely delivery and pickup.
  • Executing cleaning duties in various areas such as floors, gowning rooms, and storage spaces, while maintaining cGMP compliance.
  • Handling the disposal of pharmaceutical waste and containers generated during production activities.
  • Facilitating the movement of materials within the warehouse to support production needs.
  • Assisting the manufacturing and packaging washroom team with cleaning, stocking, and material replacements.

Qualifications and Experience

We welcome candidates with any combination of education, training, and experience that meets the position's requirements. Preference will be given to those with experience in manufacturing, packaging, or extrusion:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or packaging environment is preferred.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Ability to wear a respirator in designated areas.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working from a daily task list, with duties that may vary based on departmental needs.
  • Attention to detail regarding safety and quality standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Availability for a Monday to Friday work schedule, totaling 8.5 hours each day.
  • Experience with electric floor forklifts and floor scrubbers is a plus, though training will be provided as part of the role.
