Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and execute engineering tasks on projects of varying scales.
- Oversee budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Engage in engineering design, report preparation, plan development, specification writing, and cost estimation for diverse water projects.
- Compile technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; conduct data entry and analysis, and support the construction phase of projects.
- Supervise or coordinate the efforts of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and other team members involved in specific assignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- 6-12 years of experience in water project management.
- Experience should encompass water treatment facilities, water transmission/distribution systems, water storage, groundwater wells, and master planning.
- Professional Engineer registration in Texas or the ability to obtain it within six months.
- Proven experience in the design and construction phases of various sizes of water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects, with full accountability for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Proficient in delivering high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering.
- Experience in both design and construction phases.
