Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II to join our team at North Suburban Medical Center. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operating ultrasound equipment to provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operate ultrasound equipment to provide high-quality patient care.
- Prepare the room with necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Interact positively with patients, medical staff, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
- Provide care to assigned patients and ensure a safe patient care environment.
- Maintain technical skills and use equipment to minimize hazards and maximize patient safety.
- Assist in collecting data for performance improvement monitors and conducting quality control on equipment.
- Current ARDMS certification with Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Current BLS Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
- Clinical rotation or 1 year of clinical experience.
- Familiarity with majority of ultrasound and/or NIVA procedures.
