The Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Specialist at our Milford Walk-in Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in upholding the YNHHS mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives to provide the highest level of patient-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and families, encompassing an understanding and integration of cultural and diversity into practice.
  • Communicate and work collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare team members to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Raise awareness about the importance of evidence-based practice and research in improving patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and update them accordingly.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the State of Connecticut.
  • Experience in emergency or urgent care nursing preferred.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
