Job Title: Police OfficerJob Summary:

The City of Leesburg, FL is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer to join our team. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting the public, and enforcing laws and regulations. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed.
  • Investigate crimes and gather evidence to support investigations.
  • Testify in court as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must pass a background check and physical fitness test.
