Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. as a Medical Air Transportation Specialist. As a key member of our air medical transport team, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical facilities, working closely with medical experts to ensure the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Operations: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our Pilatus PC12 aircraft, adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and company policies.
  • Medical Transport: Work with medical experts to transport patients to and from medical facilities, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight operations, including load manifests, shift logs, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
  • Certifications and Training: Maintain required certifications, including a valid FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate, and participate in ongoing ground and air training to stay current with industry developments.
Requirements
  • Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) Certificate
  • Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
  • Valid and currently unexpired driver's license
  • 2,500 total flight hours
  • 2,000 fixed wing hours
  • 1,000 PIC hours
  • 500 cross country hours
  • 100 night hours
  • 75 instrument (50 actual) hours
Working Conditions
  • Outdoor Weather Conditions: Work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and precipitation.
  • Physical Demands: Stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 70 pounds.
