Role/Department

We are seeking a dynamic engineer who is passionate about cloud and security technologies to join our Data Protection team. As an architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and deploying features and components in a large-scale system. You will drive improvements to code quality, performance, and team processes while leveraging modern web technologies and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer solutions that meet system expectations relative to scalability, performance, fault tolerance, usability, and data integrity.
  • Deliver solutions that meet end-user expectations relative to performance, usability, and security for the Data Protection Engineering and Architecture function.
  • Use specific knowledge of a discipline to achieve goals through own work.
  • Has specific knowledge or expertise typically gained through formal education or equivalent experience.
  • Uses expertise to provide guidance to others as a project manager or consultant.
Major Duties
  • Familiarity working with CyberArk endpoint privilege manager.
  • Execute support activities that could not be resolved by the Level 1 Support team.
  • Perform second-level troubleshooting of application privilege elevation and local administrator password rotation issues.
  • Review EPM agent logs and determine root cause and perform extended troubleshooting.
  • Generate report from EPM Console (Policy audit data, EPM activities data, computer data).
  • Perform health checks – EPM console availability, agent connectivity, license count, health of SAML Integration etc.
  • Monitor notifications on the EPM console related to upgrades, Certificate expiry etc.
  • Review EPM policy issues and work with L3/Engineering team for policy application definition modifications.
  • Collaborate with EPM vendors for issues/trouble tickets.
  • Coordinate communication among support staff, field services, and service desk (e.g. Outage communication).
  • Coordination for ITSM Change management activities (CAB, Incident) for EPM.
  • Work on Periodic SCCM data validation metrics, LCD password rotation metrics, Analysis of the privilege elevation AD group.
  • Review and analyze CyberArk EPM threat protection events using CyberArk threat intelligence Services such as Virus total, National software reference Library, CyberArk application and reputation analysis.
Knowledge/Skills
  • Excellent teammate skills, effectiveness both in independent and collaborative work.
  • Ability to learn and use new technologies.
  • Background in networking, data security, and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with distributed computing platforms for high-scale systems.
  • Experience with Azure services and eco-system.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux-based environments.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools.
Experience Required

A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. Information Security Certification / Accreditation preferred such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Cisco, SANS, etc.
