Key Responsibilities

As the Head of Implementations and Project Oversight, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our implementation team. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will ensure seamless operations and a superior onboarding experience for our clients.

Strategic Leadership

  • Vision Development: Formulate and implement a strategic vision to enhance the customer onboarding experience for our freight management and specialty pharmacy clients.
  • Goal Alignment: Establish clear objectives for your team that align with the overarching vision, motivating them to achieve these goals effectively.

Team Leadership

  • Implementation Team Oversight: Lead a dedicated team responsible for deploying VPL's SaaS solutions, including integrations with various third-party services.
  • Training Initiatives: Direct training programs for clients, ensuring high satisfaction levels with VPL's educational offerings.

Process Optimization

  • Strategy Formulation: Design and execute strategies to guarantee an outstanding implementation and onboarding experience for VPL clients.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and report on the effectiveness of implementation processes to the executive team.
  • Continuous Development: Stay informed about VPL solution updates, participating in briefings and adjusting implementation processes accordingly.

Project Management

  • Direct Oversight: Personally manage significant customer implementations and strategic internal initiatives, ensuring timely and efficient outcomes.
  • Analytical Assessments: Conduct needs assessments, performance evaluations, capacity planning, and cost-benefit analyses to support company objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Main Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for your team with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular updates to key stakeholders, keeping them informed of the progress across implementations and internal projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in driving implementations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS environment.
  • Skills: Proven project management capabilities, with a focus on mentoring teams in effective project execution and implementation processes.
