We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the University of Miami. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer anesthetics according to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver comprehensive anesthesia care.
- Conduct pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and document anesthesia notes on patient records.
- Review medical history, evaluate patients, and determine proper methods of anesthesia.
- Perform or evaluate diagnostic tests, such as radiographs and electrocardiograms.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety during anesthesia administration.
- Manage patients' airway or pulmonary status using various techniques.
- Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia and provide post-operative care.
- Masters Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
