RN Charge Nurse Invasive Cardiology Leader

UCHealth is seeking a skilled RN Charge Nurse to lead our Invasive Cardiology team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nursing leadership and supervision to a specific shift and unit/area. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor staff during assigned shift, determining staffing levels and assignments based on staff availability, abilities, census, and patient acuity.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, floating between staff to assist with problem-solving and taking patient assignments to meet staffing needs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care, identifying any issues that affect desired patient outcomes and responding to complaints through established channels.
- Perform role-specific duties, including entering orders, performing admissions or discharges, and coordinating transfers, ensuring staff has necessary equipment and supplies to provide safe, quality patient care.
- Registered Nurse with Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program, with 1 year of nursing experience and state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
