A Rewarding Role
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $19.00 to $20.50 per hour, with an additional incentive of up to $1.50 per hour for applicable case support. You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including in-home, at a support center, or in the community, providing assistance and compassionate care to individuals with autism and other related developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities
As a Direct Support Professional, your key responsibilities will include assisting families seeking support with autism and other related developmental disabilities by providing care in-home, at a support center, or in the community. This will involve:
  • Providing assistance and supervision to consumers in activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Adhering to and documenting an individual's program as directed by the Program Coordinator or Department Manager.
  • Fulfilling various roles to fit the unique programming needs of each individual client.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or GED, and be able to maintain a professional demeanor, boundaries, and composure. Additionally, you should demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to implement existing behavioral plans.
