Job Summary

The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Centre is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our rehabilitation department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our team of Physical Therapy Assistants.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure they are providing high-quality care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in physical therapy.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Experience working in long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
