Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, utilizing appropriate psychotropic medication management and therapeutic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology, incorporating evidence-based approaches into your practice.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to behavioral health services.
- PhD/Psy.D. in Clinical or School Psychology from a regionally accredited university.
- Postdoctoral masters degree in clinical psychopharmacology from a regionally accredited university.
- Current and unrestricted license from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners to practice Medical Psychology.
