Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Client Advisor - Business Insurance Specialist to manage a book of assigned Commercial Lines accounts and market new and existing clients to prospective carriers. The successful candidate will provide exceptional service to commercial clients, maintain high retention rates, and build long-term relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Introduce and promote new products through communication with clients.
  • Increase the profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added-value services.
  • Consult on the most effective coverage for a particular need.
  • Deliver good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients.
  • Communicate with colleagues and carrier representatives to maintain knowledge of new and existing products and online quoting platforms.
  • Prepare complete and accurate submissions to insurance carriers, including narrative and loss analysis.
  • Follow-up with Insurance Carriers to ensure they have adequate information to deliver a timely quote.
  • Work with producers to obtain additional information from clients required for Insurance Carriers offering quotes.
  • Check quotes against Agency Management System for accuracy of coverage.
  • Review, update, and input quoted data into company proposals.
  • Bind coverage and update Agency Management System to reflect issuance instructions.
  • Work within the team, other departments, and with Producer or Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies.
  • Participate in meetings with Carriers to obtain knowledge of markets.
  • Ensure compliance with procedures of OneGroup by keeping up to date with all changes.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to amend policies where necessary to meet client demand.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • Property/Casualty License Required.
  • Maintain Agent/Broker License through continuing education.
  • Earn or maintain CISR Designation.
  • 5 years Insurance Experience Required.
  • Working knowledge of Agency Management Systems.
  • Ability to use menu-driven software in addition to Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel programs.
  • Knowledge of Acord forms.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An interest in meeting new people and relationship management skills.
  • Display trustworthiness, integrity, sincerity, and discretion.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • A results-driven approach to meet core responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
  • The ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.

Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
