Our team is dedicated to ensuring the quality and efficacy of our pharmaceutical products, from discovery to commercial launch. As a Senior Principal Scientist in Analytical Research and Development, you will lead the Material Characterization Group, which covers Forensic Analysis as well as quantitative material characterization techniques and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with colleagues and subject matter experts across the organization to assess the most appropriate analytical approach to support project activities.
  • Oversee the lab work of colleagues on your team(s) and coach them to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Critically review relevant sections of global regulatory submissions authored by team members in support of new drug approvals and subsequent regulatory queries.
  • Support project team members by critically reviewing their data in support of their projects, in evaluating new instrumentation, analytical techniques/approaches and publishing technical papers.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Material Science or related field, with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in leading technical and/or project teams.
  • Proven track record of coaching and mentoring.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new analytical techniques and solve complex analytical problems.
