About the Job

This Administrative Assistant role is a key part of our research department team, supporting our researchers with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, coordinating on-boarding, and maintaining staff records. As a successful candidate, you will have at least five years of office administration experience and hold an Associate's degree in business or office administration. You will also possess strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access databases. Your excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task will enable you to excel in this role. Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support for special projects, including research, compiling data, and preparing standard reports.
  • Orders supplies for all staff and coordinates on-boarding for new staff.
  • Maintains staff records, including medical license for research staff APPs and Physicians.
  • Takes minutes from meetings and distributes accordingly.
  • Handles all administrative details to support programs or processes under the direction of a manager.
  • Designs, implements, and updates forms for use within the office by applying knowledge of software applications.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in business or office administration required.
  • Minimum of five years of office administration experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access databases.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.

Work Environment:
