We are seeking an exceptional leader to serve as the Chair of Radiology in Denver, CO.

About the Role:

The Chair of Radiology will be responsible for overseeing all care delivered by the Department of Radiology at Denver Health Medical Center, providing strategic leadership and ensuring excellence in clinical services, education, and research. This senior faculty member will lead a team of radiologists, advanced practice providers, and administrative staff in delivering high-quality patient care, advancing medical knowledge, and promoting professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Department of Radiology in achieving its strategic goals and objectives, including quality improvement initiatives, research programs, and educational activities.
  • Provide comprehensive leadership for all radiologic services, including Bone Densitometry (DEXA), Breast Imaging, CT, Diagnostic Radiography, Interventional Radiology (IR), MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound (US).
  • Collaborate with the University of Colorado School of Medicine to ensure alignment with academic and research goals.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Eligible for appointment to the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at CU SOM.
  • Clinical Expertise: Recognized excellence in clinical care, teaching, mentoring, and research.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a leadership role within an academic medical center or similar setting.
Estimated Salary Range:

$250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
