Key Responsibilities:
• Provide timely and effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for members across the lifespan.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each member.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Communicate complex clinical information to members and healthcare teams, ensuring clear understanding and effective care coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of member interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related field required.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California required.
• Minimum two years of post-graduate experience in mental health therapy, with a focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and family therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations and healthcare teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex clinical situations and develop creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in an integrated healthcare environment, with knowledge of Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills, with ability to communicate effectively with members and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
• Certification in a specialized area of practice, such as trauma-informed care or addiction counseling.
