Responsibilities
  • Animal Care and Treatment: Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose health problems, and administer vaccines to maintain the health of animals.
  • Surgical Procedures: Perform surgical procedures on animals, ensuring their safety and well-being during and after the procedure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work with veterinary assistants and technicians to provide top-notch care for our animal patients, and educate pet owners on the general care, medical conditions, and treatments of animals.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for animals, including medication, therapy, dietary changes, and surgery if necessary.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed, accurate, and up-to-date records of animal patients.
Requirements
  • Education: A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active license to practice veterinary medicine. (Will consider relocation/licensing)
  • Skills: Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills, strong communication skills, and a deep passion for animals.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism, and a willingness to continue learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
