Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Perform thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and execute personalized treatment plans to enhance articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.
  • Therapy Administration: Administer therapy sessions to individuals, either individually or in groups, to address communication needs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of client progress, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcome measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certification and Licensure: Hold ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and be eligible for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
