Cloud Computing Software Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Software Developer to join our team at Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As a member of our Utility Computing organization, you will play a key role in the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new and existing systems, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
- Participate in code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
