Key Responsibilities- Provide Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dietary and fluid needs, and provide companionship.
- Develop Collaborative Relationships: Work with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
- Communicate Effectively: Verbally communicate pertinent information to the Charge Nurse concerning an elder's care.
- Document Resident Care: Document both care provided and resident activities of daily living appropriately.
- Adapt Care to Meet Resident Needs: Care for each resident as an individual and adapt care to meet their needs and wishes.
- Education: Must have the required education for certification in the State of Texas as a Certified Nurse Aide.
- CPR Certification: Must obtain CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it during employment.
- Language Skills: Must be able to read, speak, and write English.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8-12 hours, lift or move up to 100 lbs. or more with assistance, and perform other physical demands as required.
