The Beverage Artisan is tasked with overseeing the coffee station's operations, which includes recommending, preparing, and serving both standard and specialty coffee beverages according to established recipes and protocols. Familiarity with all food and drink offerings, as well as preparation techniques and quantities, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

The Beverage Artisan plays a crucial role in the success of the coffee station. A thorough understanding of the terminology, ingredients, and production methods for both regular and specialty coffee drinks is required. Creating a warm and welcoming environment by engaging customers in conversation is also vital. Responsibilities include ensuring all pre-event tasks are completed, which may involve setup, preparation, and daily inventory checks. The successful candidate will manage assigned locations by coordinating with various stakeholders (such as the Director of Operations, Warehouse, Assistant Concession Manager, and Supervisors) to guarantee guest satisfaction. Addressing guest complaints promptly to achieve satisfactory resolutions is also part of the role. At the end of each shift, the Beverage Artisan must ensure that all necessary paperwork is accurately completed and submitted for final accounting. Following assigned closing duties to clean and prepare the area for future events is also required.

Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- Must possess a valid TEAM, TIP, or Title 4 certification card if serving alcoholic beverages.

- A valid County Food Handler Card must be on file with Craft Culinary Concepts and in your possession for each event worked.

- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

- Completion of all pre-employment forms and successful passing of a background check is mandatory.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment is essential.

- Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a Barista in a high-volume restaurant setting or similar venues such as parks, zoos, stadiums, or arenas.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and remain on feet for extended periods.

- Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to operate in environments with extreme temperature variations and high noise levels.
