Job Summary:

The FSQ Manager leads the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ Team) and oversees the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF Quality System at our USDA-inspected meat snacks manufacturing facility. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with SQF and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage the FSQ Team to achieve quality and food safety goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of SQF and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in quality assurance and food safety.
