Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Maintenance Lead to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance:
    • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and repair of floors, carpets, and other facilities equipment
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and extend the life of facilities equipment
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist with documentation and record-keeping related to maintenance and repair activities
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify best practices and new technologies for facilities maintenance
    • Update and maintain inventory records and supplies
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to facilities maintenance
    • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance and repair principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
