Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, under the supervision of a radiologist.
  • Provide patient care and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Imaging or related field.
  • Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
