Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Novant Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic C.T. procedures ordered by physicians to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all diagnostic C.T. procedures per Radiologist protocol.
- Provide for patients' physical and emotional needs in a wide variety of circumstances.
- Transport patients as needed for all sections of the Radiology Department.
- Provide all customers with information pertinent to their exams.
- Document all appropriate paperwork relative to pertinent examination.
- Perform/documents QA and QC per section protocols.
- Perform all duties necessary to ensure the harmonious operation of the C.T. section.
- Administer contrast media per established medication review protocols.
- May perform moderate or waived point of care testing per CLIA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Radiology Tech-Registered
- Associate Degree
Additional Information:
Experience: 1-2 years C.T. experience preferred. Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
