Job Summary:

NKC of America Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Fabrication Specialist to fill a critical role in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and apply welding symbols and terminology to ensure precise welding according to specifications.
  • Adhere to NKC and quality control standards to maintain dimensional accuracy and ensure materials align with specified angles, degrees, and radii.
  • Operate a variety of machinery, including Brake Press, Drill Press, Hydraulic press, Arbor Press, Tapping tools, Portable Plasma, Cutting Torch, Welding machine, Shear, Saws, Pipe Bending equipment, and Roll Mill.
  • Design and set up Jigs and Fixtures for Production, ensuring accuracy according to drawings.
  • Verify all dimensions and materials before welding to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to follow work processes and ensure accurate fabrication.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training and knowledge of welding
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Fitter with machinery and fabrication tools
  • Experience in manufacturing and job shop environments
  • Experience with conveyor systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
