About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembly Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling mechanical and electrical components and systems, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assembly of Electro-Mechanical Components - Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and components according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Quality Inspection - Perform visual and dimensional inspections of assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Use of Tools and Equipment - Utilize hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, and testing equipment to assemble and test products, ensuring they are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Read and Interpret Drawings - Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics to understand assembly requirements and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving - Identify and resolve assembly issues, working closely with the engineering and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation - Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, inspection results, and any modifications or adjustments made during assembly.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, reporting any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
  • Continuous Improvement - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Team Collaboration - Work collaboratively with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
  • Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronics Assembly - Demonstrated experience in assembling electrical and electronic components is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Certifications - Certification in electro-mechanical assembly or related fields is a plus.
  • Software Proficiency - Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.
Requirements:
  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electro-mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Experience - Minimum of 2 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
  • Physical Ability - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to Detail - Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Communication Skills - Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team Player - Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
