About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Solutions Expert to join our team at Office Depot. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth by offering tailored solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and provide personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  2. Evaluate customer needs and determine the best course of action to meet their needs, including referrals to our Contract Sales organization when necessary.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by educating customers about our products and services, and effectively utilizing communication tools to request assistance and coordinate services.
  4. Perform various sales floor duties, including cashiering, logistics support, stocking, and inventory control.
  5. Continuously develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge through sales and service tools provided.
  6. Train and coach new and existing associates on the use of new products and tools, and selling programs.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices, and support company loss prevention efforts.
  8. Perform merchandise-related activities to ensure merchandise presentation guidelines are met, including implementing plan-o-gram changes and updates, merchandise set and price changes, and setting weekly ads.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, including sales and customer service.
