Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee the installation of design/build landscape projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Coordination and Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule upcoming and ongoing projects, taking into account rain days, material delays, and personnel issues.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain open communication and relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Quality Control: Inspect job sites regularly to ensure quality control and provide feedback to crews.
  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to your team, developing other leaders and providing productive feedback to drive growth and development.
  • Project Tracking: Track project progress and monitor costing to hit goals and targets.
  • Team Management: Ensure the job information is prepared each day for your crews, perform annual reviews with employees, and line up training opportunities.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure that crew tool inventories are managed correctly, equipment is kept clean, and trailers are organized.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report to the Operations Manager and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five (5) years landscape installation experience, with experience leading diverse crews and in project management roles.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
  • Certifications: ICPI & MCMA certified (preferred), with a valid driver's license.
  • Language: Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
