About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Training Supervisor to join our team at GXO Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the training and development of our logistics staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate time records for direct reports and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our logistics staff.
  • Conduct needs assessments with department supervisors to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions.
  • Generate special reports from our employee training database and timekeeping system to inform training decisions.
  • Organize and maintain a comprehensive training record system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Energize the training process by generating and distributing required training rosters and sign-off sheets.
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant work experience in a logistics or supply chain environment.
  • Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems and a proven understanding of the Supply Chain Quality Policy.
  • Demonstrated ability to adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Effective organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to use a variety of interpersonal styles and communication methods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally.
