Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a hospital and/or clinical setting, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures.
  • Conduct clerical duties as required, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Assist patients with transportation and exam preparation.
  • Review exams, file work, and restock supplies to maintain a clean and efficient environment.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance functions to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasonographer Program or 2 years of previous Ultrasound experience.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Ob-Gyn or Abdomen required from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
  • Sonography Technologist License (Oregon) and Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing Ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years.
  • Vascular Ultrasonographer experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, prioritization, planning, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and technical skills.
