Job Summary

As a Clinical Dietitian at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in identifying patients at nutrition risk, assessing their nutritional status, and developing personalized nutrition care plans. Your expertise will help ensure optimal nutrition management and promote cost-effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and monitor patients' nutritional needs, developing and adapting nutrition care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate nutrition therapy and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.
  • Provide education and training to hospital staff, patients, and families on nutrition-related topics.
  • Conduct quality improvement and research initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Document patient information accurately and completely in the Electronic Health Record.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in dietetics or a related field.
  • CRT-Registered Dietitian (RD) certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
