Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures to diagnose and treat patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
  • Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any concerns or abnormalities to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiology technologies and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R certification in Radiography and ARRT-CT certification in Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
