Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Store Associate to join our team at The Sherwin-Williams Company. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous interactions.
  • Determine customer needs and present appropriate products and services, building trust and loyalty.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate and efficient operations.
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, assisting with deliveries as needed.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, maintaining accurate records and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer satisfaction, contributing to the growth and success of the store.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have received at least a "meets expectations" (3) rating on the most recent performance appraisal.
  • If internal to Sherwin-Williams, must have completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for the current position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
