Job Title: Gymnastics Head Coach

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Gymnastics Head Coach to lead our high school team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gymnastics coaching and a passion for developing young athletes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining high academic standards for all student athletes.
  • Direct, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assistant coaches.
  • Work cooperatively with the athletic director to ensure proper insurance coverage for all athletes.
  • Foster a positive team culture and promote good sportsmanship among participants and spectators.
  • Direct the training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity athletic team.
  • Act as a positive influence on the behavior of team members and staff.
  • Be present and direct the team at all varsity contests.
  • Advise the athletic director on scheduling, equipment, and facility needs.
  • Recommend athletes for varsity letters and junior varsity/freshman certificates.
  • Perform other duties related to the position of head athletic coach.
Qualifications:
  • Coaching experience or participation in gymnastics on high school or college levels.
  • Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course.
  • Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
  • Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.
